Mesh surface study

Breaking the design process into boxes is one of the key methods in the studio. We focus on specific subjects that can play a role in one project or often become an asset source for several projects down the line. Nevertheless it is always a great feeling digging deeper into one thing and enjoying a spectrum of discoveries. As with all Visions projects we always try to create high quality results in solid media so it is a pleasure to come back to that content and apply it at any later time.

Polygonal structural patterns on oval surfaces

The basis for these surface transformation is the mesh and all its quad and tri expressions that can describe an oval section. The aesthetic and functionality of the patterns in obvious and their ability to accentuate the tactility of a surface is so strong ranging from gentle regular textures to broken and chaotic ones.
